Closing costs in western North Carolina are typically +/- 3% of the purchase price. Additionally, pro-rated property owners association dues may be applicable, as well as the reimbursement of a septic permit fee for each parcel.
The following is a typical list of closing expenses that a property buyer pays. Depending on the mortgage company you choose, costs could be greater or lesser. Additional fees from other lenders not listed on this website may apply. |

- Soil absorption ("perc") test & permit from the Rutherford County health department @ $350 per parcel

- Credit report, if any (bank fee)
- Appraisal
